Spintronix Color Guard, a competitive, non-profit youth performance organization based in Mtn. View, will compete in and look to defend its 2017 state championship in the Mid Continent Color Guard Association State Championship April 7 at Willard High School.

“This is the first season in the organization's eight-year history that they have earned and maintained a first-place ranking throughout the entire competition season,” said team organizers.

According to the team’s website, “Spintronix Color Guard is the only one of its kind serving the south-central Missouri area. Students aged 12 to 22 can participate in this weekends-only ensemble where they learn about dance, flag spinning and teamwork.”
