The 37th Judicial Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) has sworn in three new board members. Taking their oaths are, from left, Lynette Reid, Maggie Fielder and Marcus Allen, all of West Plains. Administering the oaths is Presiding 37th Judicial Circuit Judge Steven Privettes. Reid is board treasurer, Fielder is chair of fundraising and Allen is chair of personnel. CASA is a nonprofit organization that trains volunteers to advocate for children that have placed in state care due to abuse or neglect during legal proceedings to determine long term placement, with a focus on the well-being of the child.
