July 8 (7-11 a.m.) Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser by Avenue Theatre Fine Arts Academy at the West Plains Sr. Center, 416 E. Main St.
July 10-14 (1-4 p.m.) Young Writers Workshops, hosted by WPCA at West Plains Public Library Community Room. Monday-Thursday will be geared towards 9 to 14-year-olds. Friday’s target audience is 15 to 18-year-olds. Sign up now at Eventbrite “Young Writers Workshop” or email info@westplainsarts.org.
July 20 (1-4 p.m.) Artfully Aging, Community Room at the MU Extension Offices, 1376 Bill Virdon Blvd. Hosted by WPCA and other local partner agencies. For attendees aged 60 and older who will have the opportunity to enjoy hands-on arts activities and receive information about Medicare and Medicaid program updates.
Wednesdays (11 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Thursdays (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) The Yellow House is typically staffed and open for visitors. It will be closed on Thursday, June 29.
