Authories seek public's help in Wagyu calf case

Posted

The Sharp County, Ark., Sheriff's Department is asking the public for information about a May 10 incident in which a fence was cut and a Wagyu calf went missing, suspected to be stolen.

The calf was found dead Wednesday, buried under hay near the area where the fence had been cut on the same farm property.

Sheriff Shane Russell asked anyone that has information about the incident to call the sheriff's office at 870-994-7356 or Sharp County Central Dispatch at 870-994-2211.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission assisted in the investigation.
