Moderate injuries were reported for a Douglas County woman who was in a crash at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 5 a mile south of Mansfield in Wright County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Sgt. L.S. Elliott, Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported Tammy J. Veverka, 45, was not wearing a seat belt when her 1997 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, traveling south, ran off the road and struck an embankment.
The report shows she was flown by Lifeline helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
