Mr. and Mrs. Bobby and Karen Sloan, West Plains, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the weekend of June 30, 2023, with a private reception and luncheon at West Vue, hosted by their children. Bobby Ray Sloan and Karen Maxine Sloan were married June 30, 1973, at First Pentecostal Church of God, West Plains. Rev. Tabor officiated. They were attended by Gary Martin, West Plains, and Carol Bybee, West Plains. Mr. and Mrs. Sloan have two children, Auga Sloan, West Plains, and Eirik Sloan (Benjamin Burns) of Las Vegas, N.V., and one grandson, Jacob Matson Sloan, West Plains.
