Parents and caregivers are reminded the ninth annual Bridges Back To School Bash and Health Fair will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.Saturday as a drive-thru event.
The annual event is an opportunity for area students to pick up school supplies, personal hygiene items and other things related to returning to the classroom, all donated by businesses, organizations and individuals within the community. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required, and students must attend with their families.
Participants are asked to enter the West Plains High School parking lot from Howell Street. The fair is free to all preschool through 12th grade students in West Plains and surrounding rural school districts.
Preregistration is required for this event and may be completed at eventbrite.com, “Bridges Back-To-School and Health Fair.” School supply lists for elementary and middle school students are available and can be accessed on the zizzers.org home page.
