Funeral services for David Claude Baughman, 70, West Plains, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Baughman passed away at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

He was born Dec. 20, 1948, at Mount Pulaski, Ill., to Lloyd Grayson Baughman and Hulda Pauline Sholty Baughman. On Aug. 18, 1973, he was married at West Plains to Debbie Easley. 

Mr. Baughman was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force. He had worked in construction and was a sales representative for Meeks Lumber Co. He loved to sing gospel music, play golf and coin collecting and was a Cardinals fan and a Chiefs fan. Mr. Baughman was a member of Brandsville Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Baughman, of the family home; three children, Cheri Stump and husband, Shawn, West Plains, Ben Baughman and wife, Renee, Trenton, Tenn., and Julie Combs, Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, David Andrew, Tristan, Emily, Piper and Andrew; two sisters, Linda Bunch, Brandsville, and Anna Judd, South Haven, Mich.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

His parents, stepmother, Lena Baughman, two brothers, Howard Dale Baughman and Charles Robert Burroughs and a special cousin, Victor Featherston, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brandsville Church of God Memorial Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
