While the weather can't make up its mind, the calendar does, it's still winter foodies. That means it's still soup and stew weather and what goes best with both, fresh bread from the oven. I know how time-consuming bread baking can be and I don't mind the long progress, most of the time. But sometimes, you need a faster way to get the homemade taste without all the work. And I found a recipe that delivers both, you just mix and bake. This Cheddar Cheese bread will soon become a favorite as it has mine, and in the next batch, I'll try a different cheese, maybe jalapeno with real bits of the pepper chopped in. You could also add some herbs.
