Howell County Commissioners are scheduled to meet with a representative of the sheriff’s office on Monday to discuss a grant to go toward election security enhancement.
The conference, set to take place during the commission’s regular semiweekly session, is slated to begin at 11 a.m., and will be followed by discussion of another, unspecified grant award, also with the sheriff’s office representative.
Also on the agenda, the commission is expected to review and consider bids for a road grader; the bids were due Oct. 26.
Accounts payable presented to commissioners will be approved and guests will be recognized.
The commission typically meets at 10 a.m. each Monday and Thursday in the county office building, 35 Court Square in West Plains. The public is welcome.
