This “footprint” is one of the many that appeared on the pages of Wednesday’s Quill, showing businesses and individuals who support family and friends in the fight against cancer. Most individual footprints are in honor or in memory of someone who has had cancer or is battling the disease. By reader request, the Quill will offer a second opportunity for members of the community to honor their loved ones in the Aug. 2 issue of the newspaper. Anyone interested in placing a “footprint” ad should contact the Quill office at 417-256-9191 by 5 p.m. Monday. A portion of the proceeds from each of the footprints will be donated by the Quill to Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center.
