The University of Missouri Extension named its council members for the upcoming year at an annual meeting held Thursday at its office in West Plains. Outgoing Council Chair Jared Barr recognized other outgoing members, plus Leader's Honor Roll recipients Scott and Cheryl Frescoln, and the 2023 State Fair Farm Family, Jason and Jennifer Poor. New council officers were sworn in by Howell County Clerk Kelly Waggoner. 2024 council members are, front row, from left, Greg Collins, Billy Sexton, Secretary Ruth Waggoner, Tyler Osborn, Jennifer Poor, Christin Byrd and Evan Kinder. Back row: David Snodgras, Kent Kelley, Treasurer Bryan Adcock, Chair Ray Riggs, Blake Crow, Daniel McKinney and Justin Huddleston. Raymond Williams is the council’s incoming vice chair. Besides Barr, other outgoing members are Jerrod Lawrence and Mike Topliff.
