ARRESTS

Willie Gene Day, 41, was arrested Feb. 5 on a Texas County probation violation warrant and released the following day without bond. Deputy James Wardrip.

Robert Anthony Prichard, 42, was arrested Feb. 5 on two warrants for failure to appear on felony charges and released the same day on $5,000 bond. Jailer Tyler Gill.

Zoey Lee Paige Hensley, 20, was arrested Feb. 5 on a Mtn. View charge of failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $133.50 cash bond. Deputy Michael Lewis.

Matthew Franklin Brewer, 48, was arrested Feb. 5 on four counts of a charge of first-degree stalking and released the same day without bond. Jailer Corey Clark.

Amanda Jean Volner-Thacker, 43, was arrested Feb. 6 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $435.31 cash bond. Jailer Gill.

Madge Alanna Anderson, 49, was arrested Feb. 5 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $500 bond. West Plains Police Officer Jacob Brixey.

Melvin Padillo Castro, 46, was arrested Feb. 6 on a Texas County warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $500 cash bond. Sgt. Paul Bradshaw.

Donald Eugene Baker, 39, was arrested Feb. 6 on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree harassment and resisting or interfering with a felony arrest. He is held on $15,000 bond. Officer Brixey.

Carrie J. Braun, 37, was arrested Feb. 7 on a charge of second-degree murder and is held on $100,000 bond. Deputy Lewis.

John Daniel Taylor, 44, was arrested Feb. 8 on two warrants for failure to appear on felony charges and held on $20,000 bond. Deputy Lewis.

Dale V. Cooper, 29, was arrested Feb. 8 on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended, repeat offense, and is held on $2,500 bond. West Plains Officer Ivie Powell.

Jonathan Cecil Miller, 41, was arrested Feb. 8 on charges of failure to register a vehicle and having an open container. He was released the following day on $284 bond. Officer Brixey.

Joshua Mathew Tilson, 43, was arrested Feb. 9 on a Willow Springs charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility and released the same day on $300 bond. West Plains Officer Jacob Miller.

Kristian D. Watson, 45, was arrested Feb. 9 on a Texas County warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and released the same day on $1,000 cash bond. Officer Miller.

Elijah Joseph Harper, 27, was arrested Feb. 9 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and released Monday on $15,000 bond. Deputy Talon Millard.

Viktor Anatolievich Bandurovskiy, 39, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear and held on $500 bond. Deputy Dylan Webb.

Lester W. Knox, 43, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $250 bond. Patrol Cpl. J.M. Heimsoth.

Johnny Lee Meadors, 46, was arrested Monday on a Jasper County probation violation warrant and released the same day on $304.04 cash bond. Deputy Timothy Gordon.

INCIDENT REPORTS

Deputy Jacob Hamby was notified at 9:02 a.m. Feb. 5 of property damage on County Road 8800 in West Plains. He spoke to the reporting party at the sheriff’s office and took a report. Video footage of the suspect was captured and he will attempt to identify the person in the video.

At 4:23 p.m. Feb. 5, Deputy First Class Travis Weaver responded to County Road 1280 in West Plains for a burglary. A report was taken.

Deputy First Class Weaver responded at 9:27 p.m. Feb. 5 to County Road 2720 in Willow Springs for a domestic disturbance. A report was taken.

At 3 p.m. Feb. 6, Deputy Austin Ryan was dispatched to County Road 1890 in Willow Springs for a stealing complaint. A report was generated and the case is under investigation.

Deputy Hamby was notified at 3:13 p.m. Feb. 6 of video footage submitted to the sheriff’s office relating to a burglary on AB Highway. He spoke to the victim and took information for a report.

At 9:02 a.m. Feb. 7, Cpl. Brian Jackson was dispatched to the sheriff’s office to speak to a woman who wanted to file a harassment report. A report was taken.

Deputy Melanie Roam received a report from dispatch at 11:27 a.m. Feb. 7 regarding a violation of an order of protection on AB Highway. The reporting party advised the suspect was on the property, and the reporting party wanted to file a report. Information will be sent to the county prosecutor’s office for review.

At 1:35 p.m. Feb. 7, Deputy Roam responded to the sheriff’s office to take a report of a burglary that occured on the 1600 block of U.S. 160.

Cpl. Nicholas Bruno was dispatched at 4:07 p.m. Feb. 7 to a home off of County Road 5120 in Willow Springs for an assault. A report was completed.

At 6:03 p.m. Feb. 7, Cpl. Bruno was dispatched to a home on W Highway in Peace Valley for a trespassing complaint. The case is under investigation.

Deputy Avery Stolba, at 6:08 p.m. Feb. 7, spoke to West Plains Middle School staff regarding an incident involving a student making violent threats toward other students. A referral form will be sent to the Juvenile Office.

At 12:30 a.m. Feb. 8, Deputy Robert Malone was dispatched to County Road 2660 in Mtn. View for a weapon offense call. A person was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Cpl. Bruno took a missing person report at 6:16 p.m. Feb. 8 from a woman in the sheriff’s office lobby who said her daughter went missing in California. The case was turned over to the Los Angeles County, Calif., Sheriff’s Office.

At 10:43 a.m. Feb. 9, Deputy Webb took a walk-in report of attempted stealing. The reporting party said someone tried to pay for things with her banking information, but the transactions were not completed, so she lost no money. A report was taken for documentation.

Deputy Malone stopped a vehicle at 11:46 p.m. Feb. 9 on U.S. 160 in Caulfield. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and taken to the sheriff’s office.

At 3:44 p.m. Saturday, Cpl. Bruno was stationary on U.S. 63 just north of Brandsville, running radar, and clocked a southbound vehicle traveling at 106 mph. He stopped the vehicle and issued the driver a ticket.

Deputy Malone stopped a vehicle at 9:06 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 160 in Caulfield, resulting in the driver being arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended.

At 9:32 p.m. Saturday, Deputy John Thomas was dispatched to conduct a well-being check on County Road 4910 in Pomona, after a citizen reported a vehicle parked in the road with a person asleep at the wheel. The driver was booked and released on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked or suspended. Charges will be filed with the county prosecutor’s office.

Deputy First Class Weaver responded at 2:59 p.m. Sunday to KK Highway in Pottersville for a report of a runaway youth. While he was there the child was located and returned to his father. A referral will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office.
