ARRESTS

John Richard Collins, 56, was arrested April 1 on a Texas County charge of second-degree domestic assault and released the same day on $2,500 cash bond. Deputy Hunter Ward.

Abbigail Madison Beck, 25, was arrested April 2 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and released the same day on $261.50 cash bond. West Plains Police Cpl. Thomas Manning.

Damian Paul Henry, 24, was arrested April 2 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon by possessing one and a felony controlled substance. He was held on $7,500 bond. Cpl. Manning.

Emani Elizabeth Talton, 23, was arrested April 2 on four warrants for failure to appear on felony charges and held on $25,000.

Dennis Morgan, 48, was arrested April 2 on a charge of second-degree burglary and an Oregon County warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge. He was released the following day on $5,900 bond. Cpl. Manning.

Ryan C. Hall, 29, was arrested April 2 on charges of failure to drive on the ride side of the road and littering. He was released April 5 on $137 cash bond. West Plains Police Officer Brent Keepes.

Miera Paris Thomas, 30, was arrested April 3 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released the same day on $5,000 bond. Deputy Koleman McDaniel.

Anthony Lee Pharrow, Sr., 64, was arrested April 3 on charges of first-degree stealing and resisting arrest for a felony. West Plains Police Officer Jacob Brixey.

Tarjinder Singh, 56, was arrested April 3 on a charge of third-degree domestic assault and released the following day on $2,500 bond. West Plains Police Officer Jacob Beadell.

Amanda Dawn Murrow, 42, was arrested April 4 on a Mtn. View charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and released April 7 on $379 cash bond. Willow Springs Officer Ryan McGinnis.

Arlie O’Neil Brinkley, Jr., 53, was arrested April 5 on a Wright County probation violation warrant and released from Howell County custody the same day.

Brandon Marshal Murphy, 35, was arrested April 6 on charges of stealing, value at least $750, and stealing a vehicle, three counts. He was held on $100,000 bond. Deputy Talon Millard.

Daylon William Sloniker, 23, was arrested April 7 on a Webster County warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge.

Jeremiah Joshua Johns, 38, was arrested April 8 on three warrants for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges, plus failure to register vehicle, driving on a highway without a valid license and driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. He was released April 11 on $1,889 bond.

Jason Paul Emmel, 42, was arrested April 9 on a charge of resisting arrest by fleeing, creating substantial risk, and held on $35,000 bond.

John William Johnson, 52, was arrested April 9 on two warrants for failure to appear on felony charges and held on $150,000 bond. Jailer Knehans.

Gary D. Cope, 41, was arrested April 9 on charges of second-degree child molestation, aggravated and involving a child younger than 17; incest, two counts, and first-degree sodomy or attempt, two counts. He was released the following day on $250,000 bond. Deputy Tessa Jens.

Zebadiah Jones Jorgensen, 30, was arrested April 10 on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended and released Saturday on $323.50 bond.

Trevor Asher Harris, 25, was arrested April 10 on charges of third-degree domestic assault and stealing, value at least $750, and released the same day on $5,000 bond.

Melissa Dawn Hunt, 58, was arrested April 10 on charges of being a fugitive from out of state and theft of value between $2,500 and $30,000. Officer Keepes.

Dustin Levi Walker, 43, was arrested April 10 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and held on $10,000 bond. Cpl. Manning.

Michael Dean Edwards, 46, was arrested April 10 on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance and released the following day on $50,000 bond. Deputy Shaun Duggins.

Tatyana Vladimirovna Gerasimov, 23, was arrested Friday on a Wright County warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $100 bond.

Zacchaeus Alexander Viers, 20, was arrested Friday on charges of first-degree burglary and stealing a firearm and held on $50,000 bond. Deputy First Class Jared Hummel.

Edward Leon Kennedy, 44, was arrested Friday on two warrants for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges and held on $500 bond. West Plains Police Cpl. Brandon Stephens.

Samantha Jo Miller, 26, was booked and released Saturday on a charge of driving while suspended. Jailer Joshua Knehans.

Freddy Selba Silva, 29, was arrested Saturday on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended and released the same day without bond. Deputy John Thomas.

Justice Blake Martin, 19, was booked and released Sunday on a charge of driving while suspended or revoked. Deputy Talon Millard.

Garrett Solomon, 35, was arrested Sunday on a charge of disturbing the peace and placed on a 24-hour hold. Deputy Robert Malone.

Jayson Alexander McDaniel, 26, was arrested Sunday on warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and held on $5,000 bond. Sgt. Brian N. Jackson.

David Wayne Fare, 54, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended and failure to maintain proof of insurance. He is held without bond. West Plains Police Officer Daiman Meyer.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 3 p.m. April 1, Deputy Austin Ryan took a report from a victim who received fraudulent checks in the mail in the area of County Road 8690 in West Plains. The case is under investigation.

Deputy Duggins was dispatched at 5:54 p.m. April 1 to County Road 3020 in Mtn. View for a structure fire. When the fire was extinguished, first responders found a side-by-side utility vehicle in the structure that the property owner believed was stolen. A report was taken and the vehicle was seized.

At 9:22 a.m. April 2, Deputy Jacob Hamby saw two people walk into the sheriff’s office who have active protection orders in place. Details were taken for a report and charges will be sent to the county prosecutor for review.

Deputy Ryan was dispatched at 9:55 a.m. April 2 to assist Children’s Division employees regarding allegations of sexual contact in the area of ZZ Highway. A report was taken.

At 10:56 a.m. April 2, Deputy Ryan was called to County Road 2060 in Pomona for a suspicious vehicle. Investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen. It was processed and towed, and a report was taken.

Deputy Millard spoke to a woman in the sheriff’s office lobby at 2:45 a.m. April 4 regarding an assault that happened on County Road 1770 near West Plains. She was taken to Ozarks Healthcare and interviewed there. Deputy Millard went shortly after to a home on that county road and arrested someone on a charge of second-degree domestic assault, along with multiple other charges, and the suspect was placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

At 4:06 a.m. April 4, Sgt. Jackson was on routine patrol on U.S. 63 in Pomona when he saw a silver Honda van without visible license plates traveling slowly in the left lane, impeding the flow of traffic. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended.

Jailer Knehans reported that at 3:35 a.m. April 4, he found what he believed to be a controlled substance in the possession of a person who was brought into the jail.

At 12:29 p.m. April 4, Deputy Brandon Meacham was dispatched to County Road 1390 for a report of stealing. No suspect has been identified and a report will be held on file pending more information and evidence.

Deputy Millard was dispatched at 7:33 p.m. April 4 to a call regarding a vehicle stuck in the car wash on Worley Drive. The vehicle’s occupants were unhurt and the owner of the car wash was able to remove the vehicle from the wash. The vehicle sustained minor damages and both parties exchanged information; neither party wanted to pursue charges and the case is closed.

At 8:44 p.m. April 4, Deputy McDaniel was dispatched to Ozarks Healthcare to take a report of a dog bite.

Deputy First Class Hummel was dispatched at 5:36 p.m. April 6 to an address off of County Road 6690 for call regarding stealing. No charges have been filed.

At 3:19 a.m. April 7, Deputy Millard responded to K Highway for a possible domestic assault. A person was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree domestic assault and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Deputy Ward was notified at 3:49 p.m. April 7 of a stolen firearm, which he entered into the law enforcement database as stolen. The case was forwarded to investigators.

At 12:50 p.m. April 8, Deputy Ward was notified of a harassment allegation, but the reporting party provided an invalid phone number.

Deputy Ward stopped a vehicle at 12:36 a.m. April 9 on U.S. 63 and issued a warning to the driver for failure to maintain financial responsibility. The driver was released and the vehicle was towed to a lot in Willow Springs.

At 1:41 a.m. April 9, Deputy Ward responded to the 8100 block of U.S. 160 for a report of a domestic assault. Both parties left the scene, and one was given information about civil remedies and how to file a report if she wanted to press charges.

Deputy Ryan was called at 9:29 a.m. April 9 to speak with a woman on County Road 1500 who wanted to report her vehicle stolen. He spoke to both parties involved and a report was taken.

At 9:43 a.m. April 9, Deputy Ryan spoke to a woman who reported her ex-husband was stealing her firearms in the area of County Road 2720, Willow Springs. The case is under investigation.

Deputy Jens was dispatched at 12:32 p.m. April 9 to a home on County Road 9230 regarding a child sexual assault report. She and Children’s Division employees spoke with the suspectt, was later arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. A report was completed and a probable cause statement sent to the county prosecutor’s office for review.

At 1:35 p.m. April 9, Sgt. Seth Smith was called to respond to County Road 1280 for a verbal domestic disturbance. A report was taken and the case is closed.

Deputy Ryan was notified at 12:14 p.m. April 10 of a person who wanted to report fraudulent checks sent to her in the mail in the area of County Road 9790 in West Plains.

At 1:37 p.m. April 10, Deputy Ryan was dispatched to assist Children’s Division staff on County Road 1280. The alleged suspect was spoken to and a report was taken.

Deputy Thomas was dispatched at 7:59 a.m. April 11 to Dollar General in Caulfield to take a report of an incident of stealing.

At 10:50 a.m. April 11, Deputy Adriel Lisboa was dispatched to a home off of County Road 2470 to take a report of a missing or possibly stolen firearm.

Deputy Duggins reported at 1 p.m. April 11 that at 10:58 p.m. the previous night, deputies conducted a warrant search on a home on County Road 6070. While securing the residence, Michael Edwards was taken into custody, and the search of the property reportedly turned up about 23 grams of suspected meth and drug-related paraphernalia, all of which was seized. Edwards was taken to the county jail pending formal charges.

At 8:37 a.m. Friday, Deputy Thomas was dispatched to County Road 8830 in West Plains to take an informational report for a stealing complaint.

Deputy McDaniel was contacted at 8:32 p.m. Friday by Children’s Division regarding a hotline call about a home on County Road 8690. An investigation was completed by Children’s Division.

At 3:43 p.m. Saturday, Deputy Thomas stopped a vehicle on U.S. 63 in Pomona, resulting in the driver being booked and released on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended.

Deputy Malone stopped a vehicle at 7:58 p.m. Saturday on Old Airport Road in West Plains, resulting in the driver being arrested and taken to the county jail on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended.

At 6:50 p.m. Sunday, Deputy First Class Hummel was dispatched to an address off of County Road 1770 for a disturbance. Charges will be forwarded to the county prosecutor’s office for fourth-degree domestic assault and first-degree trespassing.
