A man on a motor scooter was seriously hurt in a Sunday afternoon crash that happened after the scooter traveled into the path of an oncoming Chevrolet Silverado driven by a man from Willow Springs, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Cpl. J.R. Sellars, Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported Chad K. Collins, 41, Willow Springs was driving north on Highway 17 in his 2004 Silverado, about a mile north of Success in Texas County, when a southbound 2006 Honda Reflex traveled into his truck’s path.
The scooter was operated by Chamberlan M. Wolfe, 40, of Dixon, Sellars reported. Wolfe was wearing a helmet and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
No injuries were reported for Collins.
