Mason Jackson, a 2023 graduate of Viola (Ark.) High School has been awarded the Black River Technical College President’s Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year. The award covers full tuition for two consecutive semesters, as long as the scholar maintains a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment. Jackson is one of four to receive the scholarship and plans to seek a degree in industrial maintenance technology at BRTC in Pocahontas, Ark. He is the son of Greg and Jennifer Jackson, Viola.
