During the month of July, Missouri Lottery offices paid out more than $15.8 million in prizes of $1,000 or more.
Of that $15.8 million, $48,077 was won via local retailers, including a $10,000 MegaMillions prize won in West Plains and a $5,000 Scratchers game each won in Houston and Bakersfield.
Areawide, Casey’s General Store locations sold the highest number of winning tickets, with six prizes of $1,000 won on Scratchers games purchased in those stores. Snappy Mart locations sold four winning tickets, the second highest number, totaling $13,000, one of which was the $10,000 prize won at Snappy Mart North in West Plains. The other three were $1,000 Scratchers prizes.
One single location, Evans Kwik Stop on Highway 101 in Bakersfield, sold three winners amounting to a collective $7,077 in prizes: a $5,000 Scratcher, a $1,077 Keno prize and a $1,000 Scratcher.
West Plains: Snappy Mart North, 1818 Porter Wagoner Blvd., $10,000 MegaMillions and $1,000 Scratchers; Casey’s on Preacher Roe, two $1,000 Scratchers tickets; Ramey supermarket, $1,000 Scratchers; and Snappy Mart, 502 Porter Wagoner, two $1,000 Scratchers.
Bakersfield: Evans Kwik Stop on Highway 101, $1,077 Keno prize, $5,000 Scratchers and $1,000 Scratchers.
Gainesville: one $1,000 Scratchers game each sold at USA Investments on First Street and Hitchin’ Post on Highway 5.
Mtn. View: one $1,000 Scratchers game each sold at Signal Food Store on North Pine Street, Anchor C-Store on U.S. 60 and Casey’s on North Elm.
Ava: Walmart, $1,000 Scratchers.
Cabool: one $1,000 Scratchers game each sold at Casey’s and The Gas Station, both on Ozark Street.
Mtn. Grove: one $1,000 Scratchers game each sold at Walmart, Casey’s on North Main Street and Red Express on North Maple.
Willow Springs: one $1,000 Scratchers game each sold at Snappy Mart on South Harris Street and Town and Country Supermarket.
Licking: Town and Country Supermarket, two $1,000 Scratchers.
Thayer: Smoker Friendly on Risner Street, $1,000 Scratchers.
Theodosia: USA Investments, $1,000 Scratchers.
Houston: Murphy USA on South Sam Houston Boulevard, $5,000 Scratchers.
Moody: The Kountry Korner Store, Highway 142, $1,000 Scratcher.
