Noah Reese, 22, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 6:39 p.m. Jan. 6 on a charge of speeding by 6 to 10 mph over.

Riley Carver, 18, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 10:40 p.m. Jan. 6on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over.

Douglas Wade, 23, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 10:55 p.m. Jan. 6 on charges of failure to drive on the right side of the road and driving while intoxicated, repeat offense.

Ronald Graef, 83, St. Charles, was ticketed at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Matthew Combs.

INCIDENT REPORTS

On. Jan. 8, Officer First Class Kylie McGee spoke to the owner of a home on Orchard Street regarding an ongoing civil issue between the owner and her daughter. She said she would be placing her daughter’s belongings outside and filing for an order of protection.

Officer First Class McGee spoke with a woman on Jan. 8 who said her belongings were being kept by her mother in a shared space. McGee told the woman if they could not work the matter out themselves, they would have to go through small claims court.

On Jan. 8, Officer First Class McGee was on patrol on East Fifth Street and saw a large dog knock over the trash can at Crosscut, and cleaned up the trash so that no other animals could get into it.

Officer Alexis Johnson conducted a well-being check on Jan. 8 after a family report not hearing from a subject tin a few days. She made entry into the subject’s home and an ambulance arrived and took over the call.

On Tuesday, Officer Combs was asked to call a woman about a dog outside. She told the officer the dog had a doghouse, and he advised that because the dog has shelter, there is nothing for police to do.

Officer Robert Poindexter was dispatched on Tuesday to Mercy St. Francis Hospital to assist Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers in finding out if a person had gone to the hospital after he had told troopers he was going there after a crash. No one had gone to the hospital at that time.

On Wednesday, Officer Poindexter noticed the city shop gates were open while doing building checks. Two trucks were parked inside. It was learned the trucks belonged to city employees.

Assistant Chief Stetson Schwien took information for a noninjury traffic crash on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Officer Poindexter secured the golf course gates.

Cpl. Israel Guidry responded on Thursday to an alarm call at Sonic and spoke to the assistant manager, who did not realize the alarm was still malfunctioning.

On Thursday, Officer Poindexter spoke to a man who had concerns about his children smoking marijuana and asked the officer for a “scared straight” style interaction. The man was informed the police department does not have such a program.

Officer Poindexter was dispatched on Thursday to check the well-being of a man who was yelling for help. Assistance was rendered.

On Thursday, Officer First Class McGee assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop.

Officer Poindexter on Friday assisted the Howell County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop.
