Nov. 25 – Grizzly Basketball vs. Morton College, 7 p.m., West Plains Civic Center arena.
Nov. 28 – Grizzly Basketball vs. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, 7 p.m., West Plains Civic Center arena.
Dec. 6 – Professional Educators Recruitment Conference, 4 to 8 p.m., Gohn Hall. Hosted by officials with the Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree program, the event will connect potential paraprofessionals and pre-service teachers with several local school districts. Dec. 7 – Last day of 2023 fall semester classes.
Dec. 7 – High School Counselor/A+ Coordinator meeting and luncheon, 9:30 a.m., Hass-Darr Hall. Hosted by officials in the admissions office, high school counselors and A+ coordinators will meet with university officials for a campus update and conversation about current topics and opportunities for collaboration. Dec. 8 – Friends of the Garnett Library luncheon and meeting, noon to 1 p.m., Lybyer Technology Center Rooms 104-105. Guest speakers, alumni Taler and Anna (Cantrell) Sutherland who will discuss how their experiences at Missouri State University-West Plains impacted their lives. Dec. 11-14 – Final exam period for 2023 fall semester classes.
Dec. 13 – Grizzly Basketball vs. Memphis Day, 7 p.m., West Plains Civic Center arena.
Dec. 19 – “The First Noel” presented by Professor of English Frank Priest, 2 p.m., Garnett Library, 304 W. Trish Knight St. Hosted by officials with the Ozarks Heritage Research Center, Priest’s presentation will celebrate the poetry of traditional Christmas hymns, including their history, rhyme, meter, rhythm and form.
