The Mtn. View City Council will meet for a special session at 6 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers inside city hall, 120 N. Oak St.
Once quorum is established and opening formalities are conducted, the meeting will begin with a closed session to discuss legal and personnel matters, then return to open session to review a bid for lead service line inventory to comply with Department of Natural Resources requirements.
New business expected to be conducted includes Sunshine Law compliance training for the newly-elected mayor and aldermen as well was interim City Clerk Jessica Smith; bid specifications for microphones to be installed in council chambers; an ordinance regarding the appointment of an operations manager; confirmation of supervisors hired; and affirmation of appointments of a city attorney and municipal court judge.
The public is welcome to attend.
