The Educational Digital Marketing Awards (EDM) organization has awarded Ozarka College Director of Public Relations and Marketing Katie Norris two awards in the category of “Digital Video Under Two Minutes.”
“This is a well-deserved recognition and is evidence of the talent Katie brings to the Ozarka marketing role,” said Dr. Josh Wilson, vice president of advancement at the Melbourne, Ark., college. “Her talent for producing quality content is remarkable and we are very proud of the work Katie is doing.”
A national panel of industry specialists which consists of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing, advertising professionals and the Educational Digital Marketing editorial board review met in early fall to review content submissions. Content was scored based on creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application and innovation.
“I am extremely honored to receive these awards for our college,” said Norris. “It is a privilege to work in this field that I am passionate about, and I especially appreciate the opportunity to work at Ozarka College. Promoting higher education is very rewarding and I am honored that the videos we produced received attention.”
The Education Digital Marketing Awards recognize the best educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media.
