On Nov. 9, students and staff at Ozark Horizon State School honored several veteran guests as part of the school’s first Veteran’s Day celebration, hoped to become an annual event. The veterans enjoyed cookies made by the students, listened to patriotic songs that were sung and created a flag craft with the students. Each veteran also received an American flag as a thank you gift. Ozark Horizon School would like to thank all those who have served and currently serve in the military.
