The Richards School Board of Education will hold its annual tax rate hearing at 6 p.m. Aug. 23 in the school boardroom, followed by the regular monthly school board meeting. The public is invited to attend both sessions.
The meeting was initially planned for Aug. 9 and was rescheduled.
The agenda for the regular meeting includes administrative reports from Principal Tammy Raderstorf, Superintendent Dr. Melonie Bunn and Executive Administrator Jerry Premer.
The board is expected to adopt a special education compliance plan and the required annual conflict of interest notice, as well as review the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year 2023. Board members are also expected to approve bus routes for the upcoming school year and the annual secretary of the board report.
A closed executive session will be held prior to adjourning the meeting for discussion legal and personnel matters.
The Richards School Board typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
