The Richards School Board is set to hold its monthly session at 6 p.m. Thursday in the school boardroom.
Following the consent agenda, the board will hear administrative reports from Principal Mick Price, Superintendent Dr. Melonie Bunn and Executive Administrator Jerry Premer.
A guidance counseling program evaluation is on the agenda, and board members will consider bids for mowing school grounds.
A closed executive session will be held to discuss legal and employee matters prior to adjourning the meeting.
The board last met Jan. 18 in regular session with all members present, save for Ray Murphy.
Following routine administrative reports, the board voted unanimously to approve the 2023-24 School Emergency and Crisis Response Plan and this school year’s Professional Development Plan, as well as summer school dates. Summer school will be held Mondays through Fridays from May 6 through 24.
Following a motion to enter executive session, several hires were announced: Cody Swearengin and Rachel Dewey as girls basketball coaches, and Bryce Duddridge and Emmalee Layman as teachers.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
