Chase Mackenzie York, 26, was arrested Feb. 4 on a warrant for failure to appear and released the same day on $1,000 bond. Cpl. Brandon Stephens.

Eric Elton Childers, 62, was arrested Feb. 5 on a warrant for failure to appear and released Feb. 8 without bond. Officer Austin Deshazo.

Victor Dunn, 34, was arrested Feb. 5 on charges of disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order, resisting arrest and trespassing. He was released the same day on $4,500 bond. Officer Robert Shell.

Lorraine Michelle Tackitt, 56, was arrested Feb. 5 on a charge of failure to appear and released the same day on $200 bond. Officer Jacob Brixey.

Donald Eugene Baker, 39, was arrested Feb. 6 on a charge of resisting arrest and released the same day without bond. Officer Deshazo.

Derek Palmer, 34, was arrested Feb. 6 on charges of assault, two counts; disorderly conduct, failure to obey lawful order, harassment and resisting arrest. He was released Feb. 8 on $8,500 bond. Officer Brixey.

Jacob Howard Ohse, 30, was arrested Feb. 7 on a charge of not having a required license and released the same day without bond. Officer Ivie Powell.

Viktor Anatolievich Bandurovskiy, 39, was arrested Feb. 7 on a warrant for failure to appear and released Saturday on $426.40 cash-only bond. Willow Springs Police Officer Joe Barnhouse.

Michael J. Lewis, Jr., 47, was arrested Feb. 7 on two warrants for failure to appear, plus a charge of stealing. He was released the same day on $2,400 bond, $1,200 of which was cash-only. Cpl. Thomas Manning.

Dale Vernon Cooper, 29, was arrested Feb. 7 on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended and released the following day without bond. Officer Brent Keepes.

Tony Lee Newton, 58, was arrested Feb. 8 on charges of disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order, plus a warrant for failure to appear. He was released Sunday on $3,100 bond. Cpl. Manning.

Andrew Phillip Duncan, 56, was arrested Feb. 8 on a warrant for failure to appear and released Sunday on $902.99 cash-only bond. Officer Keepes.

Travis Lee Tyler, 44, was arrested Feb. 8 on three warrants for failure to appear and released the following day on $2,400 bond. Howell County Sheriff’s Office.

Jason Edward Draheim, 37, was arrested Friday on two warrants for failure to appear and released the same day on $300 bond. Willow Springs Police Officer Cary Gates.

Joshua Ray Green, 40, was arrested Friday on three warrants for failure to appear and released Sunday on $1,400 bond, $500 of which was cash-only. Officer Nathaniel Siegrist.

Kelly Gene Hollis, 47, was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear and released the following day on $200 bond. Officer Daiman Meyer.

Logan Bell, 20, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving on a highway without a valid license and held on $400 bond. Officer Shell.

Darren Michael White, 28, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear and held without bond. Cpl. Manning.

Karri Ann Moore, 38, was arrested Sunday on two warrants for failure to appear and released the same day on $500 bond. Cpl. Manning.

Colt Jennings Brewer, 18, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear and released the same day on $159.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 10:35 a.m. Feb. 5, Officer Deshazo responded to the 400 block of West Broadway for a suspicious person. A man was arrested on active warrants and taken to the city jail.

Officers were dispatched at 1:02 p.m. Feb. 5 to Grace Avenue for a call about two men fighting. When Sgt. Brandon Romans arrived it was determined two men had fought verbally and physically, but neither required medical treatment. Investigation continues.

At 1:35 p.m. Feb. 5, the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force received three tips from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that files showing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on servers belonging to DropBox, which is a file sharing service, and Microsoft’s Bing search engine. The third report involved a message thread of a perpetrator “sextorting” a child victim on SnapChat. The suspect in the DropBox case is believed to live in Douglas County, the suspect in the Bing case is believed to live in Wright County and the victim in the SnapChat case is believed to live in Howell County. Officers were dispatched at 4:03 p.m. Feb. 4 to the area of West Plains High School for a youth reportedly in possession of marijuana. The substance and paraphernalia were seized to be tested in the Missouri State Highway Patrol laboratory. Investigation continues. School Resource Officer Conner Burnes.

At 4:32 p.m. Feb. 5, officers served a failure-to-appear warrant on Burgoyne Avenue, resulting in a man being taken to the city jail. Officer Shell.

Officer Brixey responded at 6:03 p.m. Feb. 5 to a home on the 500 block of Myrtle Street to serve an arrest warrant, resulting in a woman being taken into custody and taken to the Howell County Jail.

At 7:50 p.m. Feb. 5, officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 63 and K Highway, resulting in a woman being arrested on an active city warrant and taken to the city jail. Officer Brixey.

Officer Brixey responded at 8:16 p.m. Feb. 5 to Grizzly Lofts on the 600 block of Missouri Avenue for a man in dark clothing who was able to get inside the building, despite not having credentials to be there, and later left. A suspect was identified and a report was taken. Canvassing the area did not turn up the suspect. A probable cause statement was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

At 9:10 a.m. Feb. 6, Officer Deshazo responded to the 600 block of Missouri Avenue for a trespassing complaint. A man attempted to flee, but was taken into custody shortly after. The case is referred to the county prosecutor’s office for review.

Officers were dispatched at 6:15 p.m. Feb. 6 to Snappy Mart East on St. Louis St. for a man causing a disturbance. A suspect was identified and officers found and arrested him a few blocks away. He was taken to the city jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. A probable cause statement was forwarded to prosecutor’s office. Officer Shell.

At 9:04 p.m. Feb. 6 officers responded to Ozarks Healthcare for an agency assistance request. A girl was placed on a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold. Officer Keepes.

Officer Powell stopped a vehicle with expired plates at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 on Broadway and the driver was found to have a revoked license. The driver was arrested and taken to the city jail, where he was ticketed, booked, fingerprinted and released with a court summons.

At 11:13 a.m. Feb. 7, Officer Powell responded to Dollar General in Pomona to meet with a Willow Springs police officer to transfer custody of an arrestee held on a West Plains warrant. The person was taken tot he city jail to be held, and will be transferred to the Howell County Jail for county charges.

Officer Deshazo responded at 11:25 a.m. Feb. 7 to the police station for a complaint of possible fraudulent activity. It was discovered the possible fraud occurred through a bank account. An informational report was taken and the case is closed at this time.

At about 1 p.m. Feb. 7, officers were dispatched to the area of West Plains High School for a youth with nicotine products. The case will be sent to the Juvenile Office. SRO Burnes.

Officers took a report at about 3 p.m. Feb. 7 of a youth with a nicotine vape in the area of Zizzer Pride Academy. A referral was forwarded to the Juvenile Office. SRO Whitley Clark.

At 4 p.m. Feb. 7, Officer Brixey stopped a vehicle near Davidson Drive and Joe Jones Boulevard. The driver was issued multiple tickets and released.

Cpl. Manning served city warrants at 4:08 p.m. Feb. 7 on the 800 block of North Utah Street, resulting in a man being arrested and taken to the city jail.

At 4:28 p.m. Feb. 7, officers responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a car at Joe Jones Boulevard and North Howell Avenue. A driver was found to have a suspended license and was taken into custody and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a formal charge of felony driving while revoked. Officer Keepes.

Officer Brixey responded at 5:55 p.m. Feb. 7 to a home on the 1000 block of Washington Avenue for a domestic disturbance. A report was taken and a person was taken to Ozarks Healthcare and placed on a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold.

At 9:47 p.m. Feb. 7, officers responded to K Highway to investigate a report of a missing child. The child was not located and entered into a law enforcement database as missing.

A woman was bitten by a loose dog at 9:52 a.m. Feb. 8 on the 400 block of Arkansas Street. The dog was quarantined and its owner was ticketed. Detective Neuschwander.

At 10:05 a.m. Feb. 8, an unknown person stole fuel and equipment from a location on Highway 17 in West Plains. Due to a lack of evidence, the case is closed. Cpl. Brent McKemie.

Cpl. Manning responded at 10:28 a.m. Feb. 8 to the municipal court for a man being held in contempt. The man was taken into custody both on the contempt hold and on active city warrants for his arrest.

At 10:46 a.m. Feb. 8, Cpl. Manning documented an incident that occurred between two jail inmates for court purposes. Neither inmate wanted to pursue formal charges.

Cpl. Stephens responded at 1:40 p.m. Feb. 8 to Burgoyne Street for a report of a stolen electric bicycle. It was determined the bike had been stolen two days prior. The case is under investigation.

At 2:40 p.m. Feb. 8, officers were dispatched to Dev’s Steakhouse Piano Bar Lounge on Court Square for found property, which was collected and placed into evidence. Officer Siegrist.

Cpl. Manning was called at 4 p.m. Feb. 8 to the municipal court for a man with active arrest warrants. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

At 4:34 p.m. Feb. 8, officers were dispatched to South Howell Avenue for a report of a suicidal woman. She was demonstrating suicidal behavior and assaulted staff members, and was taken by ambulance for a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold. A probable cause statement will be sent to the city prosecutor’s office. Officer Keepes.

Officers on patrol at 6:05 p.m. Feb. 8 near Casey’s on Broadway saw a man known to have active city arrest warrants. The man was taken into custody on those warrants and subsequently searched, at which time drugs were found in his possession. He was taken to the city jail. Officer Keepes.

At 7:37 p.m. Feb. 8, police received several reports of a social media post with information regarding a possible threat to students and staff of the West Plains R-7 School District. Police and school district officials worked closely to investigate the matter and concluded there are no current threats to the district or community. Sgt. Colter Reid.

Officers were dispatched at 9:16 p.m. Feb. 8 to the 1800 block of Lasswell Street for a youth matter. The child was taken to Ozarks Healthcare for a mental health evaluation. Officer Siegrist.

At 12:45 a.m. Friday, Sgt. Josh Wichowski conducted a well-being check at Cedarhurst. A report was completed for documentation.

Officer Meyer was dispatched at 12:47 a.m. Friday to the 800 block of Walker Street for an ongoing disturbance. A person was trespassed from the home. The case is considered closed due to no other legal action being sought.

At 1 a.m. Friday, Officer Edward Heuchelin received a theft report from Walmart involving an unidentified woman shoplifting. A report was completed.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 1:38 a.m. Friday on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and arrested and taken to the city jail, booked, processed and released. The case is open but inactive, pending lab results.

At 9:40 a.m. Friday, Officer Powell stoped a vehicle without plates on Third Street near Washington Avenue. It was learned the driver did not have insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and driver was ticketed and released.

Officer Chris Barrett was dispatched at 9:42 a.m. Friday to a business on N Highway in Pomona to meet with a Willow Springs officer and transfer custody of a person with West Plains failure-to-appear warrants. The man was taken to the West Plains Jail.

At 9:59 a.m. Friday, Officer Jacob Miller was dispatched to Imperial Center for a man with an active arrest warrant. The man was arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

Officer Barrett was dispatched at 10:59 a.m. Friday to the 200 block of East Davis Drive for a domestic assault complaint. A woman reported her boyfriend had assaulted her while she was at the residence, but she did not want to cooperate with an investigation, so the case is closed.

At 11:23 a.m. Friday, Officer Miller was dispatched to Imperial Center for a man with an active arrest warrant. The man was arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

A man wanted on Texas County arrest warrants turned himself in at 1:39 p.m. Friday at the police department. Officer Miller.

At 1:40 p.m. Friday, Officer Powell spoke with a theft victim at the police station, who said she lost her wallet in the parking lot of a store in the Southern Hills Shopping Center. She said she could not find her wallet when she returned to look for it, and no on had turned it in.

Officer Jerry Mingus was dispatched at 1:50 p.m. Friday to the police station for a stealing complaint. A report was created for stolen property and the case remains open for further investigation.

At 1:56 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to the Howell County Courthouse for a person wanted on active arrest warrants. The person was arrested and is held at the city jail. Officer Siegrist.

Officers were given evidence at 3:19 p.m. Friday, pertaining to a stealing case that occurred at Walmart. The suspect was identified and a probable cause statement sent to the city prosecutor’s office. Officer Siegrist.

At 8:16 p.m. Friday. Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of U.S. 63 for a verbal disturbance. The case was document and the case is closed. Officer Siegrist.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 11:25 p.m. Friday on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The driver was found to be wanted on an active city warrant and taken into custody and to the city jail. The driver posted bond and was released.

At 1:19 a.m. Saturday, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested, boo, processed, fingerprinted and ticketed. The case was sent to the city prosecutor’s office for review.

Officer Heuchelin was dispatched at 1:35 a.m. Saturday to the 1200 block of Aldridge Street, where a woman wanted to talk to an officer about a verbal dispute with her boyfriend. A report was taken.

At 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Officer Miller was dispatched to the 1900 block of Meadow Drive for property damage. A report was taken and the case is open.

Officers were dispatched at 3:13 p.m. Saturday to the 1300 block of Preacher Roe Boulevard for property damage. The incident was documented and the case is open. Officer Siegrist.

At 5:03 p.m. Saturday, Officer Mingus was dispatched to a home on Crestwood Circle for a disturbance between a mother and daughter. The parties were separated.

Officer Jesse Martin was dispatched at 10:57 p.m. Saturday to the 900 block of Creamery Road for a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted, and no charges are sought as the victim declined to cooperate.

At 9:21 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to a home on the 2500 block of Lee Anna Drive for a report of an accidental overdose. A woman was treated by medical personnel and did not want to be taken to the hospital. A report was completed for documentation and the case is considered closed. Officer Deshazo.

Officers were dispatched at 2:22 p.m. Sunday to a domestic disturbance call on the 300 block of Walker Street. A report was taken. Officer Shell.

At 5:09 p.m. Sunday, officers served a failure-to-appear warrant near the 200 block of Cedar Street. A man was arrested and taken to the city jail. Officer Shell.

Cpl. Manning was called at 5:35 p.m. Sunday to the police station for a man with active warrants for his arrest. The man was taken to be booked and held on the warrants.

At 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Cpl. Manning was called to the police station for a woman with active warrants for her arrest. She was escorted to the booking area, where she later bonded out.

Cpl. Manning responded at 9:36 p.m. Sunday to Ozarks Healthcare for an assault that had occurred earlier. Two victims were contacted and a report was taken. The suspect could not be spoken to, due to sedation.
