Mikala An Segatto, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 4:10 p.m. April 1 and again at 12:17 p.m. April 4 on a charge of having an animal at large. Animal Control Officer Mark Templemere.

David Lee Counts, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 7:20 p.m. April 1 on a charge of assault. Officer McGinnis.

Sherry Renee Counts, West Plains, was ticketed at 7:24 p.m. April 1 on a charge of assault. Officer McGinnis.

Jesse Allen Norton, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 6:22 p.m. April 2 on a charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. Officer McGinnis.

Mason Hunter Cook, West Plains, was ticketed at 2:28 a.m. April 3 on a charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. Officer McGinnis.

Alexander W. Stewart, Mtn. Grove, was ticketed at 11:24 a.m. April 3 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Carl Nathan Weeks, Phil Campbell, Ala., was ticketed at 2:53 p.m. April 5 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Tisha Tyne Peter, Joplin, was ticketed at 8:56 p.m. April 5 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Cary Gates.

Russell Joseph Good, Arnold, was ticketed at 11:02 a.m. Saturday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Robert Rex Ross, Strafford, was ticketed at 3:52 p.m. Saturday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Abigail Lea Robinson-Worthy, West Plains, was ticketed at 3:27 p.m. Sunday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Barnhouse.

Philip Waid Dimarco, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 7:25 p.m. Sunday on charges of failure to register vehicle and having defective equipment. Officer Barnhouse.

Shawn Lee Hood, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 3:56 a.m. Monday on a charge of having defective equipment. Officer McGinnis.

Cody Alan Harrington, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 2:34 p.m. Monday on a seat belt violation charge. Sgt. David Struble.

Larry Dean Gentry, Fair Grove, was ticketed at 1:17 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of speeding by 6-10 mph over. Officer Barnhouse.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 8:14 p.m. March 29, Officer Barnhouse stopped a vehicle on East Main Street, resulting in the arrest of a woman on two outstanding warrants. She was taken to the police station, where she posted bond and was released.

Officer Joby Hoopes took a report at 1:28 p.m. March 30 regarding merchandise stolen from Dollar General.

At 3:49 p.m. March 30, police were called about a theft on Valley Street. The reporting party said that, while staying with a friend, two of his firearms went missing. Officer Jake Cronin responded and took a statement. The case is under investigation.

Officer McGinnis responded at 10:34 p.m. March 31 to Sunshine Drive for an assault. The case is under investigation.

At 9:42 p.m. April 2, Officers David Hocking and Barnhouse responded to a home on Lance Lane for a violation of an order of protection, but when they arrived, it was learned the order had been dropped by court orders and there was a dispute over civil property.

Officer McGinnis and Sgt. Struble responded at 2 a.m. April 4 to North Corn Avenue for a call regarding a protection order violation. A woman was arrested and taken to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office for booking. Charges are pending.

At 3:50 p.m. April 4, Assistant Chief Al Lewis received a found wallet that had been dropped off at city hall. The wallet held a Missouri driver’s license and several bank cards, insurance cards and other identification and certification cards. The owner was notified that police were holding the item for safekeeping and the owner said he was working out of town but would have his spouse retrieve the wallet for him.

Officer Barnhouse took a report of harassment at 1:05 p.m. Saturday on the 500 block of North Harris Street. Investigation continues.

At 3:52 p.m. Saturday, Officer Barnhouse stopped a vehicle for speeding and the driver was found to be wanted on a Texas County warrant. The driver was arrested and was able to post bond and be released.

Officers Hocking, Barnhouse and McGinnis responded with Sgt. Struble at 8:14 a.m. Tuesday to a home on East Fourth Street for a suicidal person, who was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

Chief Ellison and Sgt. Struble responded on March 28 to a report of a fire on East Main Street. They checked the building and there was no fire.

On March 28, Officer Hoopes assisted another agency with a hit-and-run on East Main Street.

ACO Templemere assisted the city utilities department on March 28 with an animal issue in the area of West Fourth Street and North Ferguson Street.

On March 29, Officer Gates was taking a missing person report, but the person believed to be missing called while the report was being made.

Officer Gates conducted a well-being check on March 29; the subject of the check was fine.

On March 29, Officer Hoopes responded to West Main Street for a possible peace disturbance and provided a lift assist.

Officer Wade Bloomer spoke to a caller on March 30 who wanted to report an issue with a youth on North Ferguson Street.

On March 31, Officer Barnhouse spoke to a caller who wanted to report a scam and gave a number to report the scam.

Officer Barnhouse spoke to someone March 31 at the police station who wanted information about getting an order of protection.

On April 1, Sgt. Struble responded to East Sixth Street to take a information about an incident of stealing that had occurred.

Officer Hocking tried to make contact with a person on April 1 regarding property damage on East Fourth Street.

On April 1, Officer Hocking assisted emergency medical personnel with lifting a patient on East Sixth Street.

Officer Barnhouse took a call on April 1 regarding a dog running loose in the area of West Main Street and South Harris Street.

On April 1, Officers Hocking and Barnhouse assisted emergency medical personnel on Sunshine Drive.

ACO Templemere responded on April 1 to an animal complaint on East Valley Street; when he arrived, the animal was tied up.

On April 1, a property owner on Industrial Drive called to inform police that no parking, camping or viewing of the eclipse would be allowed on their property.

Officer Templemere took a call April 1 regarding a dog running loose on South Harris Street.

On April 2, Officer McGinnis assisted electric crews with traffic control on North Pine Street.

Officer Hocking spoke to someone who called on April 2 to inform police of a situation on East Main Street.

On April 2, a caller requested a civil standby.

Officer Hocking spoke to someone on April 2 at the police station who reported a suspicious circumstance on East Fourth Street.

On April 2, ACO Templemere responded to an animal running loose on East Third Street.

ACO Templemere took a call on April 2 regarding an animal at large on North Ash Street.

On April 2, 911 dispatched Officer Hocking to Lance Lane for a peace disturbance.

Officer McGinnis spoke to a caller who reported a careless and imprudent driver on April 2.

On April 2, Officer McGinnis responded to East Main Street to help emergency medical personnel lift a patient, but the patient was gone when he got there.

Officer McGinnis checked on an unoccupied vehicle on April 2. It had been left on the shoulder of U.S. 60/63.

ACO Templemere spoke to a caller on April 3 who reported a tent blowing down the road in the area of East Sixth Street and Sunshine Drive.

On April 3, a caller reported an animal running loose on DD Highway. The animal was placed back into the home. ACO Templemere.

An unspecified officer took a report on April 4 of a two-vehicle noninjury traffic crash that occurred at the intersection of North Center Street and Ninth Street.

On April 4, a caller reported an animal issue on South Harris Street.

A person called and spoke to Officer Hoopes on April 4 regarding found property.

On April 5, Officers Hoopes and Hedlesten assisted emergency medical services with a call on East Main Street.

A woman called on April 5 and spoke to Officer Cronin regarding a disturbance at her apartment on East Main Street.

On Saturday, Officer Hoopes responded to a call regarding a suspicious person and it was deemed unfounded.

Officer Barnhouse spoke to a caller on April 7 who reported an abandoned vehicle on East Main Street.

On Sunday, Officer Barnhouse removed debris from East Main Street.

Officer McGinnis handled a report of debris in the road Sunday on First Street.

On Monday, Officer McGinnis removed debris from the road on West Main Street.

Officer McGinnis spoke to a caller about a car seat on Monday.

On Monday, ACO Templemere took a call from someone reporting two animals running loose on East Main Street.
