Don and Judy Woods of Alton are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 3, 1963, at Many Springs Baptist Church in Alton. The Woods operated Woods Canoe Rental and Guide Service on the Eleven Point River for over 40 years in Alton and sold the business in 2000. Don and Judy say they are thankful and blessed to be lifelong residents in the beautiful Ozarks, and they appreciate all the loving care and prayers from their community through the years.
