The West Plains Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will take place at 4 p.m. Dec. 9. This year’s Parade theme is “The Joys of Christmas,” and the procession will once again make its way through downtown.
Chamber officials have indicated that parade entry forms will be available beginning Nov. 1 at the chamber office, 401 Jefferson Ave. All those who wish to participate must register in advance. No walk-ups will be allowed. Line-up and safety instructions will be given to entries when they register.
A panel of judges will evaluate entries on originality, workmanship and relevance to the parade theme. First and second place prizes will be awarded in three categories: commercial, religious and miscellaneous, plus an overall grand prize.
