Members of the Willow Springs City Council will hold their regular monthly meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. today at city hall council chambers, 900 W. Main St. in Willow Springs. All are welcome to attend.
Consent agenda items include the approval of Aug. 17 meeting minutes and bills for payment, the presentation of financial reports, and reports from the YMCA and heads of city departments and boards.
The council plans to welcome new Willow Springs Police Department cadets as visitors to the meeting. Following that, the business portion of the meeting will begin with a discussion under existing business regarding the progress of stabilization of the McClellan Building at 104 E. Main St. Updates on the project will be heard at that time.
Under new business, the agenda shows appointments to the Public Safety Advisory Committee are expected to be made before the floor is opened for questions from the public and the media.
The open session of the meeting will be immediately followed by a closed session, if needed, to discuss legal, personnel or real estate matters.
