At 7 p.m. Thursday, award-winning multi-instrumentalist John Depew will bring his unique sound to the Yellow House Community Arts Center, 209 W. Trish Knight St. in West Plains.
In addition to playing several stringed instruments, Depew is the 2022 Kansas State Mandolin Champion.
Depew's first self-titled album in 2021 received positive responses from critics and musicians alike. A review by bassist Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers stated, "Excellent music. One of a kind."
After time on the road and the studio, Depew is touring on the release of his new album "Yellow Threads."
Suggested entry donation is $10 dollars, or whatever is feasible to give at the door.
