A group of Project Leads the Way (PLTW) engineering students and science teacher Dr. Janet Brewer of West Plains High School were invited to participate in S.T.E.M. Day at the Capitol in Jefferson City. The visit exposed students to engineering concepts and innovations through hands-on experiences. Companies including Boeing, Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, KC S.T.E.M. Alliance, National Security Campus and others were present at the event and offered insights into the forefront of science, technology, engineering and mathematical advancements.
