In September and October, AA Highway in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of highway is located from Highway 19 to County Road 140 near Alton.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Sept. 7 through Oct. 30. Drivers should anticipate short, intermittent lane reductions in the vicinity of the work zone.
The work zone will be marked with signs, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area. Flaggers and a pilot car will be in place to guide traffic.
