The 38th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Concert featuring Craig Morgan broke several records on March 21, including the largest crowd, biggest auction and most giveaway drawing tickets sold, resulting in a record-breaking $97,157 raised. As reported in the March 25th Quill, the giving did not stop at the concert. A local couple reached out to volunteer Jessica Joice-Frazier March 22 offering to donate $3,000 to push the total over the $100,000 mark. Volunteer Cheryl Finley met with the donors, Steve and Chris Hennings the next day. Steve Hennings said they had been following the event on Facebook. “When we saw your total Saturday night, we thought we should do something,” Steve Hennings said, according to a press release submitted to the Quill late last week. Volunteer Rick Frazier noted that the couple remained humble, stating they had not done any more than what others had done before them.
