Ozarks Healthcare's Behavioral Health Center (BHC) officials have announced the launch of a new six-week Social Skills Group for children ages 8 through 12, starting March 14 and ending April 18.
The weekly class, held at 4 p.m. every Thursday Ozarks Healthcare's BHC located, 23 Parkway Center, 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains, aims to enhance children's social abilities through fun and engaging activities, officials explain.
The Social Skills Group is intended to provide a supportive environment where children can develop essential skills such as conflict resolution, empathy, friendship-building and social etiquette. Led by experienced professionals, the sessions are designed to foster positive interactions and empower children to navigate social situations with confidence.
