Families are invited to prepare for the upcoming academic year at the annual Bridges Back to School Fair, scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The free event will be held in the West Plains High School parking lot and serves students enrolled in the West Plains R-7 School District as well as surrounding K-8 districts.
Attendees will have access to school supplies, community resources and information about area services. Additionally, the Howell County Health Department will be onsite at the West Plains Middle School nurse's office to provide back-to-school health services, offering a convenient opportunity for parents and guardians to take care of health-related needs, including immunizations, before classes resume.
Families can register for the fair online by visiting www.zizzers.org and clicking on “Bridges Back-To-School Fair” under the News & Events section, or by finding the registration link on the district's Facebook page, @wpzizzers.
For more information, contact the West Plains R-7 School District at 417-256-6150.
