Officials with the Missouri State University-West Plains Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree program are seeking comments from the public regarding the program in preparation for a five-year site visit by the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MSBN).
The site visit is scheduled for Feb. 8 and 9, 2024.
The MSBN team of surveyors will review the nursing program to assure its continued ability to meet the minimum standards as set forth by the board, university officials said. The purpose of the visit is for renewal of the program’s state approval, as well as to assess for resources regarding the upcoming expansion of the program.
Written and signed public comments will be accepted until Feb. 1, 2024.
