Holiday Success
Thank you so much to our incredible community members who came out and supported us on the Fourth of July! We had a wonderful turnout. Lots of vendors offered holiday specials, plenty of freebies were distributed and 40 children received free coloring books and crayons.
Sean McCormick and friends provided great live music while shoppers enjoyed homemade ice cream, root beer floats and more. Thanks everyone, you are awesome!
Abby Eldringhoff at Barefoot Holler is expanding her popular jalapeño jam line this week to include jalapeño strawberry, jalapeño blackberry and jalapeño raspberry varieties. Abby also makes delicious fruit syrups and will have a limited supply of frozen syrup popsicles available for patrons to try.
Specialty items for customers managing alpha-gal syndrome, gluten sensitivities or gluten-free diets are available weekly from Harper Family Farms, 101 Pastries and Frosted Dreams.
Fresh Crop Harvest
Our tables are packed with fresh local baked goods and an abundant summer harvest. This week's available produce includes peaches, sweet corn, blackberries, tomatoes, green beans, potatoes, squash, mushrooms, onions, jalapeños, peppers and loads more.
Our food court vendors frequently sell out, so come early! This Saturday's authentic foods lineup includes Grassy Hill Farms with Filipino cuisine, JLP Catering with Italian specialties, Tamales To Go with Mexican favorites, The Two Sisters Sweets with homemade vanilla ice cream and root beer floats, and Tribal Cajun with Cajun food.
A brief sample of our regular Saturday market staples includes local artisan crafts, tallow products, beeswax candles, coffee beans, ground coffee, grain-finished and grass-fed beef, raw local honey, gourmet pastries, fried pies, sourdough breads, Olga's Bee Venom Cream and boba tea.
The main market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays (weather permitting) at the Endurance Church parking lot, 805 Worley Drive in West Plains (next to Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply).
