The Harlin Museum is inviting local and regional artists to participate in its upcoming summer exhibit, “Beyond the Canvas: Where Creativity Takes Shape.”
The exhibit will feature three-dimensional and dimensional artwork that explores creativity through form, texture and space. Artists working in ceramics, woodworking, fiber arts, glass, metal, mixed media and other sculptural or functional art forms are encouraged to submit entries.
Artwork entry dates are scheduled for May 28 through May 31 at the museum, located at 405 Worcester St. in West Plains. The exhibit will open June 4 and continue through July 11.
Entry fees begin at $20, with discounted rates available for additional pieces.
Museum representatives said the exhibit is intended to showcase creative works that move beyond traditional flat canvas art and offer visitors a chance to experience art from multiple perspectives.
The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For more information about submissions, call 417-256-7801 or email Info@HarlinMuseum.com. Updates are also available on the museum’s Facebook page.
Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to participate.
