The Harlin Museum recently announced the award winners for its annual Fall Art Show, with artist Lee Copen taking home Best of Show honors for her watercolor painting "Lantern’s Light." In addition to winning Best of Show, "Lantern's Light,” shown here, earned first place in the Landscapes category. Copen also took second place in the category for a watercolor depiction of Hot Springs National Park and an honorable mention for "Zion’s Best Kept Secret." Mark Quentin Wallen received third place in Landscapes for his oil painting "Tough Times: Tough People." In the Portraits category, Lonnie Meuser claimed both first and second place. His graphite self-portrait took first, while his graphite portrait of Baby Thomas earned second. Chloe Cecil received third place for her acrylic painting "Girl Scout Days." Cindy Temple earned first place in the Symbols and Icons category with her collage "American Goldfinch" and received an honorable mention for "Cave Crawling." Meuser took second place in the category with his gouache painting "Bee Haven," and Twilah Hairi placed third with her pastel "Windmill at Baker Creek." The exhibition was sponsored by the Law Office of Jacob Y. Garrett.
