ARRESTS

Jakob L. Conlee, 19, was arrested April 22 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $250 bond. Deputy Robert Malone.

Jesse Lee Parsons, 39, was arrested April 22 on a charge of second-degree tampering with a utility meter and released the same day on $7,500 bond. Missouri State Highway Patrol Tpr. C.C. Battreal.

La Don Renee Mayhall, 42, was arrested April 22 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $229 cash bond. Deputy James Hatten.

Shane R. Reynolds, 44, was arrested April 23 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and held on $5,000 bond. West Plains Police Cpl. Trent Kinder.

Steven Donald Wayne Evans, 32, was arrested April 24 on a charge of first-degree stalking and held on $5,000 bond. Deputy Tessa Jens.

Heather Renea McGuire, 46, was arrested April 25 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released the same day on $5,000 bond. Jailer Nicholas Barslow.

James Donald Counts, 64, was arrested Friday on a charge of driving while intoxicated, persistent offender, and held on $10,000 bond. West Plains Police Officer Brent Keepes.

Hank Leven Loman, 40, was arrested Friday on charges of child abuse or neglect, two counts; armed criminal action, four counts; and child endangerment creating substantial risk, two counts. He was released the same day on $10,000 bond. Jail Supervisor Brenton Fine.

Dakota James McKee, 22, was arrested Saturday on a charge of first-degree stalking and held on $25,000. Deputy Malone.

Damian Paul Henry, 24, was arrested Saturday on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon by exhibiting and held on $50,000 bond. Deputy Malone.

Scotty Dale Hand, 68, was arrested Saturday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm. He is held on $7,500 bond. Patrol Tpr. Lucas Combs.

Joshua Craig McCary, 43, was arrested Sunday on charges of driving without a valid license and possession. He was released the same day without bond. Deputy Brandon Meacham.

INCIDENT REPORTS

Deputy Meacham was dispatched at 9:59 a.m. April 22 to speak to a mother regarding cyberbullying. She was referred to the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office.

At 11:14 a.m. April 22, Deputy John Thomas was dispatched to assist Children’s Division employees at Fairview School in West Plains. An informational report was filed.

Deputy Koleman McDaniel took a call at 2:12 p.m. April 22 regarding a person who wanted to report property damage after someone broke their mailbox on County Road 9640.

At 12:31 p.m. April 23, Deputy Jacob Hamby was dispatched to County Road 6970 in West Plains for a complaint of stealing. A report was taken and a person of interest was identified.

Deputy Hamby took a call at 10:11 a.m. April 24 regarding identity theft. Details were collected for a report.

At 10:18 a.m. April 24, Deputy Hamby took a call regarding a sex offense. He collected information for a report and a person of interest was identified.

Deputy Jens was advised at 1:58 p.m. April 24 of a man who was actively violating an order of protection at a home on OO Highway. She responded to the residence, and the man was placed under arrest. Information was taken and a report completed. A probable cause statement was sent to Howell County prosecutors for review.

At 8 p.m. April 24, Deputy Hunter Ward was dispatched to a disturbance on County Road 3450. Neither party involved wanted to press charges. He advised them of civil remedies.

Deputy Hamby was dispatched at 11:34 a.m. April 25 to K Highway to meet with Children’s Division employees at a home regarding a reported sex offense. Information was collected for a report and the case is under investigation.

At 2:39 p.m. April 25, Deputy Jens was advised by dispatch of a dog abandoned on County Road 2390. She responded and the reporting party said she was driving down that road and saw a vehicle stop, the driver get out and remove the dog from the vehicle, then drive off at a high rate of speed. Information was collected and the suspect was later located. The case is under investigation.

Deputy Austin Ryan was dispatched at 9:18 a.m. Friday to assist Children’s Division employees at West Plains High School. After investigating allegations, two youths were removed from their home and placed into state protective custody. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

At 2:29 p.m. Friday, Deputy Jens spoke to a woman who said she was being harassed by her husband. Information was collected for a report, which was completed. The case is under investigation.

Deputies conducted extra patrol at 12:26 p.m. April 22 on County Road 5460 in Willow Springs.

At 12:56 p.m. April 22, deputies provided a funeral escort from West Main Main Street in West Plains.

A report of property damage was taken at 2:12 p.m. April 22 on County Road 9640 in Koshkonong.

At 3:04 p.m. April 22, deputies conducted extra patrol on Crestwood Circle in West Plains.

Deputies responded at 3:31 p.m. April 22 to a report of a suspicious person on Z Highway in Willow Springs.

At 4:24 p.m. April 22, deputies responded to a complaint of property damage on County Road 4490 in Pomona; the case was determined to be a civil issue.

Deputies executed a search warrant at 8:30 p.m. April 22 on Burke Avenue in West Plains.

At 7:55 a.m. April 23, a hazard was reported in the road on U.S. 160 in West Plains. When deputies arrived, it was gone.

At 1:24 p.m. April 24, deputies responded to K Highway in West Plains for a suspicious person.

At 10:17 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an alarm call on ZZ Highway in West Plains, but the call was canceled.
