A section of Highway 137 in Texas County will close late this month as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace the bridge over Big Creek.
The affected section of roadway is located between Highway 17 and Boster Road just south of Yukon.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. June 29. The road will remain completely closed until the project is finished, with completion anticipated for Oct. 5.
The work zone will be marked with signs, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
