Junction Hill School Board meets tonight

The Junction Hill School board will hold its January meeting at 6 p.m. today in the school library.

Once quorum is established, the meeting will open with a welcome to all visitors and guests. The consent agenda to be approved will include formal adoption of the current agenda, approval of previous meeting minutes, review and approval of bill payments, and approval of the monthly safety report, the substitute teacher list and a special services report.

A review of the monthly financial report will be followed by a review of updates from the Professional Development Committee.

With no items listed under old business, the board will move on to new business discussion, including review and approval of new bus bids, approval of Missouri School Board Association policy updates and Ozarks Healthcare occupational and insurance physicals, and a review of the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.

Administrators will give their reports and the date for the next board meeting will be set before the board moves into closed session to discuss student and personnel matters, including a retirement/resignation, hiring and a superintendent evaluation.

The board will return to to open session before adjourning. The public is welcome to attend.
