Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains recently celebrated a significant milestone at its recent annual Longevity Banquet, honoring 132 dedicated employees for their combined total of 1,270 years of service to the healthcare organization.

“This evening recognized the strong commitment and dedication of our incredible team members,” said President and CEO Tom Keller. “We are immensely proud of each of our team members, especially those who have dedicated decades to serving the healthcare needs of our community.”

Among the honored, two individuals stood out for their exceptional commitment, boasting over 40 years of service each — the highest of those recognized this year.

Susan Thompson, licensed practical nurse in Ozarks Healthcare’s Heart and Lung Center, and Tammy Gintz, quality abstractor in Ozarks Healthcare’s Quality Department, were celebrated for their four decades of exemplary service, embodying the spirit of commitment and professionalism that defines Ozarks Healthcare. Thompson has served her community through Ozarks Healthcare for 45 years, and Gintz has served for 40 years.

Ozarks Healthcare officials say the health care system remains committed to fostering a work environment that values and celebrates the contributions of its employees, noting the Longevity Banquet serves as a testament to the organization's appreciation for the experience and expertise that its dedicated team members bring to the forefront each day.
