Ozarks Healthcare’s Laboratory Services reminds Thayer community members they have one more opportunity today to take advantage of low-cost lab screenings this year. The screenings allow people to monitor health indicators such as blood sugar, cholesterol, thyroid function and calcium levels.
Appointments are not required for the screenings.
Available tests include a complete blood count (CBC) to evaluate overall health; a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) for kidney and liver function; an A1C diabetic screening; a lipid panel to assess cholesterol and heart health; a PSA prostate cancer screening; a TSH thyroid screening; and a vitamin D screening.
Pricing is set at $40 for CBC, CMP and TSH tests. PSA and vitamin D screenings are $30, while A1C and lipid panels are $17.
The screenings are available today at Ozarks Healthcare’s clinic in Thayer.
