Ozarks Healthcare has announced that podiatrist Dr. Rex Goodman of Ozarks Healthcare Podiatry has joined Ozarks Healthcare Wound Care, where he will see patients on Fridays.
Goodman provides comprehensive care for foot and ankle pain, sports injuries, arthritis and diabetic foot conditions through both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options.
Ozarks Healthcare Wound Care, managed in partnership with Healogics, provides specialized treatment for chronic or nonhealing wounds, including those associated with diabetes, poor circulation or immobility. The center offers advanced therapies such as hyperbaric oxygen, wound debridement, cellular-based tissue products, negative-pressure wound therapy, total contact casting and multilayer compression therapy. Patients receive individualized care plans, ongoing education and support to promote healing at home.
“Dr. Goodman’s extensive experience in foot and ankle care will be invaluable in our Wound Care program, helping patients with diabetic and other chronic wounds heal more effectively while improving overall quality of life,” said Terence Farrell, Ozarks Healthcare president and CEO.
Goodman relocated to the Ozarks with his family after completing a 36-month residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Kent State College in Kent, Ohio, and his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
