A boil advisory issued Monday for patrons of Public Water Supply District No. 2’s Junction Hill System has been lifted.
On March 7, district officials announced the advisory would be issued Monday as a precautionary measure due to required maintenance that would take the water tower offline for several hours for draining, cleaning, inspection and sanitizing. Once the process was completed, water samples were sent to the state laboratory for testing, and the results returned today, confirming the water to be safe for drinking.
