Ahead of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the Quill announces deadlines for the Dec. 23 and 28 print editions.
Obituaries intended to be published in the Dec. 23 issue of the West Plains Gazette must be submitted to the Quill by 11 a.m. Dec. 21, and those intended to be published in the Dec. 30 Gazette need to be submitted by the same time Dec. 28.
All advertisements, including classified ads and legal notices intended to be published in the Dec. 27 Quill must submitted and approved by the advertiser by 5 p.m. Dec. 22. Likewise, any such ads intended for the Jan. 3 issue of the Quill must be submitted by the close of business Dec. 29.
The Quill office will be closed and no news will be published on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Normal office hours and publication will resume the Tuesdays following those holidays. Call 417-256-9191 or email news@wpdailyquill.net with questions.
Missouri State University-West Plains offices will be closed from Dec. 21 until 8 a.m. Jan. 4 for winter break. Anyone needed to conduct in-person business with university officials should do so before 5 p.m. Dec. 20. For more information, call 417-255-7255.
