Truck crashes through house, Eminence driver hurt

An Eminence man suffered minor injuries after his pickup truck crashed through a house at 4:45 p.m. June 29 on Highway 19 in Eminence in Shannon County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Tpr. S.T. Duggins, with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported a southbound 2006 Ford F-250 driven by the man ran off the right side of the road, went through a fence, crossed a yard and drove through a house before it overturned.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was taken by ambulance to Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mtn. View for treatment, the report shows.

Duggins was assisted at the scene by Msgts. S.N. Foster and T.W. Meyer.

 

Pomona man seriously injured by rolling vehicle

A 27-year-old Pomona man suffered serious injuries when the vehicle he was working on rolled over him at 2 p.m. July 3 on County Road 4450, 2 miles north of Pomona.

Tpr. C.C. Battreal reported the man was working on a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 that was not in park.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield for treatment, the report shows.

Battreal was assisted at the scene by Tpr. A.K. Hughston and the Howell County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Mtn. Grove man seriously injured in rollover crash

A 20-year-old Mtn. Grove man suffered serious injuries when he was thrown from his vehicle at 6:45 a.m. June 29 on Highway 95, 4 miles north of Mtn. Grove in Wright County.

Msgt. R.D. Vaughan reported a southbound 2024 Hyundai Elantra driven by the man ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, went airborne and struck a second embankment before it overturned.

The driver was taken by emergency medical services to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment, the report shows.

 

Peace Valley man hurt in Thursday collision

A 29-year-old Peace Valley man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 160 at Highway 17, 5 miles east of West Plains.

Cpl. J.D. Wheeler reported an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet Silverado driven by the Peace Valley man was making a left turn and pulled into the path of a westbound 2023 Dodge Durango driven by a 29-year-old West Plains man, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the Silverado was wearing a seat belt and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, the report shows. No injuries were reported for the driver of the Dodge, who also wore a seat belt.

Wheeler was assisted at the scene by South Howell Ambulance and Tpr. D.B. Howell.

 

Crash with semi injures Ark. woman near Thayer

A 43-year-old woman from Paragould, Ark., suffered minor injuries in a crash involving a semi-truck at 2:25 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 63, a quarter-mile north of Thayer in Oregon County.

Tpr. Howell reported a southbound 2020 Nissan Rogue driven by the woman crossed the centerline and struck a northbound 2026 Mack Pinnacle driven by a 51-year-old man from South Side, Ark.

The driver of the Nissan was wearing a seat belt and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows. No injuries were reported for the driver of the Mack, whose seat belt use was unknown.

 

Elk Creek man hurt Wednesday

A 50-year-old Elk Creek man suffered minor injuries in a crash at 7 p.m. Wednesday on H Highway, about 10 miles northeast of Cabool in Texas County.

Tpr. Z.B. Tate reported an eastbound 2013 Ford F-150 driven by the man ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, returned to the road and then ran off the left side before hitting a tree.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment, the report shows. Tate was assisted at the scene by Cpl. J.R. Sellars.

Caulfield woman injured in Tuesday collision

A Caulfield woman suffered minor injuries in a crash at 1 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street in Bakersfield in Ozark County.

Msgt. C.A. Hogue reported a westbound 2016 Jeep Compass driven by the woman ran off the left side of the street and struck a rock wall.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was taken by Ozark County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows.

 

Two teens injured in Sunday UTV crash

Two teenage girls suffered minor injuries in a side-by-side crash at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Oregon County Roads 224 and 223, 10 miles southeast of Alton.

Tpr. N.G. Britt reported a northbound 2025 Kawasaki KRX driven by a 40-year-old Koshkonong man slid through the intersection, struck a rock and overturned.

A 16-year-old girl from Rover and a 17-year-old girl from Koshkonong, both passengers, were taken by private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows. Reportedly, none of the occupants were wearing seat belts or helmets. No injuries were reported for the driver.
