Families from across the area gathered March 31 for a fun-filled and festive annual Easter egg hunt hosted by Mercy St. Francis Hospital and the Mtn. View Chamber of Commerce.
The event drew about 265 attendees who enjoyed beautiful weather and a strong community turnout, delivering an evening packed with smiles, laughter and unforgettable memories for children and families, said chamber Executive Director Tanya Miller in a statement.
Miller noted that attendees participated in a variety of activities designed for all ages, including an Easter egg hunt with more than 4,000 eggs, games, interactive activities, face painting, and visits and photos with the Easter Bunny. A train ride was also available and proved to be one of the biggest hits of the day, she added.
The day culminated with the awarding of golden egg prizes, in which lucky winners took home bicycles and helmets.
"The success of this event would not have been possible without the support of dedicated volunteers, community partners and sponsors, families who came out to celebrate," Miller said. "Together, they helped create a safe, welcoming and joy-filled experience for everyone who attended."
