Area crashes injure two

A Mtn. Grove man suffered moderate injuries in a crash at 8 a.m. Thursday on Highway 95, 3 miles north of Mtn. Grove in Wright County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Msgt. J.D. Piccinino, with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported the 69-year-old man was driving south in his 2005 Dodge Ram pickup truck, which failed to negotiate a curve in the road and ran off the road.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, the report shows.

A 24-year-old Cabool woman suffered minor injuries in a rollover crash at 2:23 p.m. Monday on north U.S. 63, 3 miles south of Houston in Texas County.

Tpr. J.L. Sentman reported a southbound 2004 Ford F150 driven by the woman ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment.
